Meet Susan

 

Susan Engle, MSOM, LAc

Susan Engle, MSOM, LAc opened Laughing Buddha Community Acupuncture in 2009 with the goal of making acupuncture accessible to everyone.

Susan earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, OR. She is certified in Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy from The American Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also holds a certification from NADA (the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) which enables her to support patients going through alcohol and drug detoxification. She is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the state of Colorado.

Susan discovered Chinese Medicine when getting treated for her own health issues. She connected with the theory and methodology of the medicine– of treating the root cause of the disease and not just the symptoms. Such depth of treatment prevents recurrence of disease and discourages new illness from occurring.
